We discussed audio visual equipment for the iPhone in our previous installment; now get ready for part two because we have some more juicy babes for you to get your hands on. As always remember that the iPhone battery gets KILLED from playing music and videos for long periods of time so do make sure that you get yourself a iPhone battery pack to get max juice out of your device.
Audio-Visual Dock for
your iPhone
Costs about £40, available from dexim.net, is a great dock for your iPhone,
basically connects to your TV AV ports and plays videos off your iPhone onto
your TV. Also has a remote control so that you can enjoy your iPhone videos
from the luxury of lying down on your sofa.
The video resolution is the standard 640x480 designed for you iPhone and is perfect for youtube videos, video podcasts, music videos, TV content from TV catchup, BBC iplayer services etc.. Although we’re not sure why you’d want to play TV off your iPhone on a TV.
This is a really fun device and may make it possible for you to record your iPhone screen straight onto video capture device with the iPhone 4 multi-task capability.
Freedom Bluetooth
Headphones for your iPhone
These headphones are great if you’re fed up of having your iPhone headphones
constantly getting snagged and as a result popping out of your ears or if
you’re constantly on the move and find that the cables tend to restrict your
movement and always pop out of your ears. The Bluetooth earphones sit up and
around your ears and stay surprisingly put once in place. They’re lightweight
and last for over 5 hours in a single charge, although in order to charge these
headphones you need to use the provided charging HUB only. E like these a lot
as they’re perfect for jogging and fit much better than standard iPhone
earphones. At around £95 these are quite expensive but well worth if you really
like your music and want to listen to it on the move.
TuneSTREAM Bluetooth
Headphones
If you on the other hand prefer the look and feel of headphones which is a much
better option for people who wear glasses, over the over the ear headphones
like the freedom Bluetooth, you may prefer the TuneSTREAM heagphone, they have
a very stylish squat appearance and fit nice and comfortable over your head with
the absolute perfect pressure on your ears.
It lasts a lot longer with an estimated 8 hours of battery life on a single charge, and it would be nice to have a USB powered charger rather than a mains.
Overall we hope you liked the reviews of the 3 products, and hope you enjoy your audio visual adventures across the galax, do consider an iPhone battery pack if you plan on using this device for a long period of time.
